In Spain there is only one Dog Race Track left. That is the one in Barcelona which is called Canodromo Meridiana. It is situated in an urban area, close to the city-centre. Most people in the area of the 'canodromo' don't even know it is there because of the large number of cityblocks surrounding it.
The dogs (700 of them) which partake in these races live in a large compound approximately 6 miles from Barcelona, they have to wait in the trucks which become extremely hot during the summer, they have no access to water. The compound which is run by a private entreprise alowes no visitors on the premises, there is a ban on photography too.

The 700 dogs run from 10:00 - 14:00 and from 16:00 untill 20:00
