| Dogs in Spain are abused on a daily basis, it is common practice for dog owners to tow their dogs behind a speeding car until it is dead. Another 'tradition' is to hang a 'good' achieving dog by the neck on a high branch of a tree, poorly achieving dogs are hung on a low branch of a tree, with their hind legs touching the ground, ensuring a long, painful and agonizing death. In some villages people were complaining of the noise these dogs make during the night.Volunteers of a Belgian Dog Rescue team have searched in vain for these howling dogs. |
